Four people are asking to be appointed to a single vacancy on the McLean County Board. That's the spot opened by the death last month of Stan Hoselton of Chenoa. Those interested include State Farm human resources worker Catherine Metsker of Carlock, Retired County Extension Director Don Meyer who is now a Lexington realtor, LeRoy Police officer Brian Taylor who lives in Cropsey, and Colfax area farmer Gerald Thompson. County Board Chairman Matt Sorenson will make a recommendation to the full boardd later this month.
