25 years ago this week, Bloomington-Normal dedicated its first linear park, a 4 mile-plus asphalt walking and biking path known as Constitution Trail. Tomorrow, a new trail logo will be unveiled during a public ceremony marking the quarter century of trail existence. WGLT's Willis Kern has more.
Former Bloomington Parks Director Keith Rich along with retired town of Normal councilmember Garrett Scott, recalling the early days of Constitution Trail with GLT's Willis Kern. Both men were instrumental in the trail's development. The ceremonies marking the 25th anniversary begin at 10:30 tomorrow morning at the Connie Link Amphitheater along Linden Street in Normal.
