New Deal Communities Sought Utopia The word 'utopia' can have two meanings: No place, and also good place. A government housing project from the Great Depression aimed to create utopian communities, despite opposition. A new exhibition of photos at the McLean County Arts Center brings into focus those communities and what type of places they became. Laura Kennedy has more with the artist.

Jason Reblando wants to continue exploring historic communities. He hopes to shoot towns created for workers of the Pullman Companay in Illinois, and for Kodack employees in Rochester, New York.   Check out these photos from the exhibition.
