A federal criminal complaint has charged a former Illinois state representative with possession of child pornography. A statement from the U.S. attorney's office in Chicago accuses Keith Farnham of possessing two videos depicting child pornography on a computer. It was seized from the Democrat's state office in Elgin last month. The prosecutor's statement says the office computer that contained the videos was labeled, ``Property of the State of Illinois House of Representatives.'' The 66-year-old has not been arrested. He is scheduled to make an initial court appearance Wednesday. Possession of child pornography carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Farnham was first elected in 2008 and resigned from his seat March 19. Telephone calls to Farnham seeking comment weren't immediately returned.
