Country Financial's latest consumer survey is out, and it's not encouraging. The survey shows many American's have only a sketchy understanding of finances. That includes important knowledge such as how much you should be saving for retirement. In this installment of GLT's "Sound Money," Jim Browne sits down to talk about the survey, and what American's need to bone up on to make the grade financially:
Joe Burhmann, the manager of Financial Support at Country Financial. He says during the economic downturn and recovery, Americans have tried to make sense of their financial situation and redefine what financial security means to them. He says the survey helps gauge how we are changing the way we earn, save, and spend our money.
