IL Supreme Court Chief Justice Talks About Her Career

As Chief Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court, Rita Garman presides over the state's highest court. She is the second-longest serving jurist in the state, and the only judge to have served in every branch of the judiciary. In the second part of her conversation with WGLT's Judy Valente, Justice Garman recalls her legal career -- one that began as the sole attorney in a rural Legal Aid office, and today includes overseeing all of Illinois' 950 judges.
