Bloomington Fire Investigators say they do not believe the cause of a fire that destroyed a nearly million dollar house in Fox Creek over the weekend was suspicious in origin. The Fire department also says because of the extensive damage to the home on Carrington Lane, they will not be able to determine the precise cause of the fire. The occupants of the home discovered the flames a little before five a.m. Saturday morning in the back patio area. The house was fully involved when firefighters arrived. A family dog died, but all human residents escaped unharmed. The estimated loss is $900,000.
