Taking The Pilgrim's Road On Monday, McLean County residents of the Jewish faith began celebrating the eight-day feast of Passover, a religious holiday that recalls the exodus from Egypt of the ancient Israelites. For Christians, Thursday marks the start of the Triduum three days that culminate with Easter Sunday and commemorate Jesus' crucifixion and the Christian belief in his resurrection. WGLT's Judy Valente talks with author Ruth Everhart about why religious pilgrimage is an intergral part of so many faiths.

In McLean County, a group of travelers from the Catholic parish of St. Patrick's of Merna recently returned from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. First Christian Church in Bloomington is planning a Holy Land pilgrimage this November.
