Illinois State University has named its interim Provost to replace Sheri Everts who is leaving for a Chancellor's position at Appalachian State in North Carolina. Mennonite College of Nursing Dean Janet Krejci will hold the post during a national search. The Provost is the top Vice President at ISU and oversees all academic affairs. ISU President Larry Dietz says Krejci has made a remarkable contribution to ISU in just a short time. She arrived as Dean of the Nursing College in 2009. Dietz says she is a national leader in nursing education and has never left the classroom. She also serves on the Illinois Center for Nursing Advisory Board and as Vice Chair of the Advocate BroMenn Governance Council.
