A Bloomington man has received a ten year federal prison sentence for putting a pipe bomb in a Decatur home's mailbox. The U.S. Attorney's office says 47-year old Lloyd Lockwood will serve the maximum sentence for having an unregistered destructive device and for being a felon with such a device. The incident happened in March of 2011. Authorities arrested Lockwood in September of 2012. And a jury convicted him in August of last year. For a while Lockwood was released on bond with special conditions under home detention. During that time prosecutors say he violated an order of protection filed in McLean County Court and he has now spent more than a year in jail.
