From Flocks To Relics: The Passenger Pigeon This year is the 100th anniversary of the extinction of the Passenger Pigeon. At one time it was the most abundant bird in North America. The author of a new book, the first major work on the passenger pigeon in a half century, speaks at Illinois Wesleyan University Thursday. WGLT's Charlie Schlenker has more.

Joel Greenberg's presentation at Illinois Wesleyan University is Thursday April 3 at 7 pm at the Center for Natural Sciences, Room 101. It's co-sponsored by the John Wesley Powell Audubon Society and IWU.
