Illinois State University has a new president. On Saturday, the Board of Trustees accepted the resignation of Timothy Flanagan after only 7 months on the job and appointed Vice President for Student Affairs, Larry Dietz to a 3-year contract. As vice president for Student Affairs at ISU, Dietz led a division including a variety of services: from Student Health Services to the Bone Student Center to ISU Police. Dietz is also a tenured associate professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Foundations. He joined Mike McCurdy, live during Sound ideas, who started by congratulating him on his appointment.
