The Illinois Supreme Court has named a new resident Circuit Judge for Woodford County. Associate Judge Charles Feeney will take over for John Huschen when Huschen retired at the end of the month. Feeney was the only applicant to fill Huschen's spot until the 2016 General Election. Feeney has been an Associate Circuit Judge for 14 years, appointed four times to that job. His law degree is from Washington University in Saint Louis and he has served in the Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate. Feeney also had many years in private practice and a two year stint as Woodford County State's Attorney before ascending to the bench.
