Bloomington Voter Turn-out 16% as of 4 PM

As of 4 this afternoon, voter turnout in the city of Bloomington was running at about 16%. Voters are going to the polls in McLean County today as in communities across Illinois. At stake are primary nominations for Congress, Senate, and statewide offices such as governor. Voters in Bloomington will also decide whether to change the structure of the city council to include at large aldermen. And a sales tax referendum to support school facilities in McLean County is also on the ballot. Listen to GLT News and Ideas this evening after the polls close for hourly election results.
