City officials in Bloomington are working to fix a pair of sinkholes that have closed a pair of streets. Kevin Kothe is the city engineer in Bloomington. He says the first sinkhole opened up Monday in the 900 block of North Lee Street when a car wheel sunk through the pavement. That opened up a hole several feet deep. Then Tuesday two wheels on a heavy truck pushed through the pavement into another hole on West Locust Street. A tow truck had to be called in to pull the stuck truck out. Kothe says both holes are being repaired and streets where they're located are closed.
