Retired Educator Reflects On Life As A Minority In McLean County Beginning today and continuing through the year, we are airing a new series we're calling "In Their Own Words," brief vignettes on diversity in McLean County. You'll hear from minority members of McLean County telling stories of what it's like to live here. In the first installment, WGLT's Judy Valente talks with Camille Taylor, a retired educator and board member of Baby Fold, the YWCA and the League of Women Voters.

You'll hear more of our new series, "In Their Own Words," the voices of minorities on life in McLean County, over the next several months. Are you a minority resident of the county with a story you think our listeners should hear? Send an email to news@wglt.org.
