One man has died from injuries suffered in a car-pick-up truck mishap in Chenoa late last week. The McLean County Coroner's office says 48-year old David Sauter of Tonica died from injuries he suffered after being ejected from the truck he was driving on Route 24 at the intersection of 2480 East Road. Sauter was thrown from his truck, which was pulling a 25-foot trailer west-bound, as it collided with a car. The driver of the auto and Sauter's passenger were hurt. An autopsy indicates Sauter died of blunt force from the impact. Toxicology tests will be attempted. Light snow falling may have played a role in the crash. The Illinois State Police are helping with the investigation.
