A second McLean County resident has died of Influenza. The McLean County Health Department says earlier this month a man in his mid 30s passed away in intensive care at an area hospital . In December a man in his late 40s died in the intensive care unit after seeking treatment. A third McLean County resident who went to the ICU survived. The December death involved the Influenza-A virus. The man who passed away this month had contracted the H1N1 variant. Health Department spokeswoman Kera Brossette says the H1N1 version is the more prevalent this year. Brossette says right now is the peak of flu season and it is still not too late to get a flu shot.
