Martin Luther King Jr was born 85 years ago tomorrow. Among those striving to carry on the civil rights' leader's legacy as well as others is author and activist Kevin Powell. He'll deliver the keynote address at this year's Bloomington-Normal Human Relations Commission Martin Luther King Awards Luncheon. WGLT's Willis Kern has more.
GLT's Willis Kern speaking with Kevin Powell, this year's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Awards Banquet speaker. His appearance is scheduled for Saturday at 1pm at Uptown Normal's Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. His topic will be The Legacy of Dr. King for Today's Younger Generation.
