Former Central Catholic Defensive tackle Josh Brent trial on intoxicated manslaughter is underway. Brent is charged in the December 2012 death of his friend Jerry Brown in a car accident. Prosecutors say Brent was drunk when he flipped his Mercedes on a highway. Brent was also charged with a misdemeanor DUI offense while at the University of Illinois, along with academic problems, his senior year. He was picked up by the Dallas Cowboys in 2010, but now says he's retired from the team. He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
