Bloomington police have arrested three juveniles in connection with a beating that occurred earlier this fall in the northern section of downtown. The three, from 14 to 16 years old, are accused of jumping and beating a 20-year old pedestrian near Main and Mulberry around 9 o'clock the night of October 29th. The victim reported he had been attacked by about 5 or 6 juveniles, who knocked him to the ground and began punching and kicking him. The group fled when a passerby said they were calling police. Police say video evidence of the attack was captured on the department's public safety camera system. They say two other suspects are being investigated. Those arrested face aggravated battery and mob action charges. The victim refused medical treatment.
