The McLean County Coroner says a 72 year old woman found dead in a ditch in rural Bloomington had a neurological disorder that could have played a part in her death. Coroner Beth Kimmerling says Marlene Brewer apparently died of cold, according to early indications. Brewer's body was found Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Twin Grove Road and Gertie Lane. She lived on Twin Grove Road. There is no evidence of assault or other related injury. Kimmerling says Brewer was not dressed for cold weather conditions. Whether she meant to wander away from her home or was disoriented remains under investigation.
