A McLean County Jury has found a 26-year old Bloomington man guilty in the Orchard Drive shooting case in Bloomington. Prosecutors say most eye witnesses refused to cooperate in the case against Deandre Daniels related to the incident in November of last year, which complicated the case. Daniels faces a potential sentence of 31 years to life for Attempted Murder. Daniels was also convicted of Aggravated Battery with a firearm and other felonies. Back in March a jury acquitted 19-year old Daniels brother Jake Williams of Attempted Murder in the shootings, but conviced Williams on five other counts related to the same incident. Williams was sentenced to 18 years in prison. Police say the shooting was the result of a fight between two rival gangs. The jury found that Daniels shot Robert Jackson as Jackson tried to run away.
