Eureka College has broken ground on a nearly $7 million addition to its science building. The four story 17,000 square foot addition to the Vennum-Binkley Science Hall will be named Sanders Hall after a $3 million gift from retired history professor Richard Sanders. The building will house organic and inorganic chemistry labs, faculty offices, a multi media classroom, conference rooms, and other classrooms. Eureka leaders say classes from almost every academic division will be held in the building. Sanders Hall is scheduled for completion in August of next year.
