Meth Makes Comeback In Central Illinois After years of declines, methamphetamine use in east central Illinois jumped last year. The state registered the fifth-most meth lab seizures and arrests in the country last year. That's as meth use continues to drop nationally. In a report produced in conjunction with Illinois Public Radio and CU-Citizen Access, Cheryl Silver examines what's driving the increase, and tries to find out why law enforcement officials are scrambling to get a handle on it.
