A child has died in a Lexington bathtub. McLean County Coroner Beth Kimmerling says early findings indicate that the death of18 month old James Wilburn is consistent with drowning. The boy lived with his mother and an adult male in Lexington. Kimmerling says early accounts indicate James' mother placed him in the bathtub and found him face down in the water 20 minutes later. Additional forensic studies have been ordered. The Sheriff's Department and State Police are helping with the investigation. The mother called emergency workers who took the boy to a hospital in Normal where he was pronounced dead.
