A second human cast of West Nile Virus has been diagnosed in McLean County. A man in his 40s tested positive with West Nile Virus while hospitalized early this month. Illinois Department of Public Health laboratories confirmed the positive WNV case Monday. McLean County Health Department Director Walt Howe says. "It's important for individuals to protect themselves from mosquito bites that could lead to West Nile Virus infection by wearing mosquito repellent with DEET, long sleeves, and pants at dawn and dusk."
