Republican Representative Rodney Davis leads the field in fundraising among 13th district Congressional candidates. Davis's Campaign says it's Federal Election Commission filing shows more than $302,000 raised in the third quarter. Democrat Ann Callis brought in $240,000 in the same period. A campaign worker for Republican Erika Harold said she would get back to WGLT, but had no immediate data. David Green, another Democrat campaigning in the primary, had raised about a thousand dollars by October 9th. George Gollin, a third Democrat in the race had planned to file his report electronically by the deadline. Rodney Davis also has $882,000 cash on hand, which is more than twice the amount the $370,000 Ann Callis has on hand. Shortly before the filing date, Davis's cash numbers compared favorably to every Illinois representative except for Aaron Schock of Peoria. A spokesman for Callis says Callis is confident she will have the resources to compete in the race against Davis.
