A top Illinois health care official says she doesn't expect a huge number of people to immediately sign up for health insurance through the new health insurance marketplace. The marketplace is at the heart of President Barack Obama's health care law. People can begin shopping for coverage through it on Tuesday. But Department of Healthcare and Family Services Director Julie Hamos says there's no reason people should feel they have to ``rush in.'' She says choosing an insurance plan is a big decision and purchasers should take the time to weigh their options. The deadline to enroll is Dec. 15 for people who want their coverage to begin Jan. 1. Illinois is also launching a $33 million advertising campaign called Get Covered Illinois to inform residents about the marketplace.
