It's estimated 4 and a half million people have Alzheimer's disease, and when family members, friends and caregivers are taken into account, it's difficult to find someone who is NOT impacted by the memory loss disease. As part of an effort to raise awareness and funding for care and research, the Walk to End Alheimers will be held this weekend in Normal. WGLT's Willis Kern has more with Tara Kaiser, Administrator at the Sugar Creek Alzheimer's Care Center in Normal.

GLT's Willis Kern speaking with Kate Allevitch President of the ISU Student Nursing Association, one of many organizations sponsoring a team of particpants in Saturday's Walk to End Alzheimers at the Corn Crib in Normal. There's more information about this weekend's walk, including how you can particpate, at wglt.org.
