Another mosquito pool in McLean County has tested positive for the West Nile Virus this year. County health department officials say a collection near Lake Bloomington is the fourth such sample to test positive for the disease-causing virus. Earlier, positive-testing mosquito pools were found in rural areas east and west of Bloomington and in Ellsworth. Also, two West Nile Virus-carrying birds have been reported by the department. 56 other counties in Illinois have also reported positive signs of West Nile. Five human cases have been reported, none of those in McLean County.
