Governor Pat Quinn Tuesday signed into law a measure to allow tele-testimony in courts. The costs of flying expert witnesses, or those who've moved, to testify sometimes disuades prosecutors from calling them. Bloomington Republican State Representative Dan Brady, who sponsored the bill, says it'll eliminate that obstacle:
Brady says McLean County is having problems prosecuting credit card fraud cases due to costs of having to fly in witnesses from corporate offices out of state, to testify for a few minutes.
