A grizzly discovery yesterday morning in rural Secor may shed some light on a mystery in McLean County. The Woodford County Sheriff's Department reports human remains in the Home. They may be connected to a human torso found Saturday near Kappa in the Mackinaw River. Woodford County authorities report 74 year old Oakley Mitchell of rural Secor was reported missing by his family. A D-N-A comparison will be performed to find out if the two sets of remains are from the same person. Earlier this week the death of the unidentified man in the Mackinaw was ruled a homicide. The Secor finding is also being treated as a homicide. Both sets of remains belong to white males. McLean and Woodford County Police and coroners, along with the state police, are continuing their investigation.
