Governor Pat Quinn is touring the state handing out money to colleges and Universities as part of a jobs creation program. On the list of recipients are Illinois Wesleyan University, Bradley University, and Eureka College. IWU gets more than $1.2 million to install sprinklers in several residence halls. Bradley picks up nearly $3 million to fund Health Science and technology engineering and math labs at Westlake Hall. And Eureka receives more than $716,000 to help renovate the century old Vennum-Binkley Science Hall. Quinn says Bradley, Illinois Wesleyan and Eureka have a long history of producing graduates who have done great things for Illinois and the investments will help the schools stay competitive.
