The McLean County Coroner's office says the case of a burning body found in a field near Shirley is an apparent intentional incident of self harm. Coroner Beth Kimmerling says DNA testing will confirm the presumed identity of the 26-year old woman in seven to ten days. Kimmerling says the woman was from India, lived in Bloomington, and worked for a firm that contracts with State Farm Insurance. She says there were no signs of blunt force trauma, or sharp force trauma on the remains. There are traces of an accelerant, but evidence at the scene and from the autopsy, authorities say, lead them to believe there is no foul play or third party involvement. The young woman was married.
