After a week and a half, the trustee race for the Normal Public Library remains tied betweencandidates Erik Bush and Walter, "Terry," Lindberg. McLean County Clerk Kathy Michaels says three provisional ballots will be counted Tuesday. There are no absentee ballots in play. Michael says ties like this one are rare:

"Everybody has had one probably at one time or another, but they don't happen very often so, Yeah, it was 1,329 to 1,329."

If the provisional ballots do not alter the tie, Micheal says a coin toss, or draw from a hat will determine the winner.
