Investigators say northern Illinois grade school children climbed out of a school bus after a fatal morning rollover accident that killed a person in another vehicle. Many of the children, who were heading to Newport Elementary School, received minor injuries during the wreck in Wadsworth. Rescuers who arrived at the scene say the kids had a range of emotion. Lake County Sheriff Chief Brian Keller says some kids said they felt like they'd just gone on an amusement park ride. Others were asking for their parents. The 8 a.m. crash happened about a mile from the school. A person in another vehicle died. More than 30 people were taken to two hospitals in Libertryville and Waukegan. They are mostly in good to fair condition.
