The committee tasked with searching for the next president of Illinois State has developed a list of candidates and interviews will take place early next week outside Chicago. In a statement, ISU Board of Trustees Chairman Michael McCuskey says the group has identified "outstanding candidates from an international pool of highly-qualified applicants." The board and the presidential search committee will hold interviews with the hopefuls Monday and Tuesday near O'Hare Airport, then determine which finalists for ISU's 18th president will be brought to Normal for on-campus interviews prior to the end of the spring semester. McCuskey says the goal of having a successor to the retiring Al Bowman in place by the fall semester remains.
