Business Week has placed Illinois State University's College of Business in the top 100 such programs in the U.S. The ranking of 99 is an eight spot improvement over last year. ISU's College of Business is one spot behind Bradley University's Foster College of Business. Only two other Illinois Universities are ranked, the U of I at 21st, and Depaul at 60th. Meanwhile, ISU is losing the Dean of its College of Business. Scott Johnson is taking a position of Dean of the School of Management at the University of Michigan at Flint starting in July. ISU will name an interim Dean later this spring pending a national search for Johnson's replacement. Johnson says ISU has made strides in national recognition, building outside financial support, and scholarly activity in his four years at the helm.
