The Normal Town Council is filling three vacancies on the Children's Discovery Museum Foundation Board of Directors. The Council approved the appointment of Carlo Robustelli. Robustelli moved to Bloomington in 2011 and currently serves as the Director of Grants and Foundations at Illinois Wesleyan University. He is also vice-president of the Ecology Action Center, and Director of the Household Hazardous Waste fundraising committee. Robustelli will replace board member Linda Bowman.

The Council also approved the appointment of Mark Jontry to the Children's Discovery Museum Foundation Board of Directors. Jontry is serving in his fifth year as Superintendent of the Regional Office of Education. He has served DeWitt, Livingston, and McLean County school districts with the Regional office for nine years.

Dr.Caroline Halperin began serving on the board August 2010. Halperin's previous term was set to expire June 30, 2013. Her term will now expire June 30, 2016.

Councilman Sonja Reese says the council is "pleased" with the new appointments...
