Showdown for Illinois GOP Chair looms The head of Illinois' beleaguered Republican party could lose his job tomorrow. Party bosses are scheduled to hold a closed-door meeting in south-suburban Tinley Park where they could vote out chairman Pat Brady. This is after Brady publicly bucked the party line and announced his support for same-sex marriage legislation in Springfield. IPR's Lisa Labuz sat down with reporter Alex Keefe, who has been following the infighting. She started by asking how the controversy started in the first place.
