U.S. Cellular Coliseum in downtown Bloomington made a profit of $112,000 in the third quarter of its budget year. Reports given by coliseum management to the City show operating profit through the first three quarters is 106% higher than at the same period a year ago. Manager Bart Rogers says 91 third quarter events drew more than 88,000 people to the facility including 5,000 from the IHSA state dance finals, and 8,000 for the Festival of Trees. The Baby Fold has since announced that it will use a different facility next year for the festival. Rogers says the facility is on track for a projected net profit of $97,000 for the full year.
