Natural Gas Customers of Ameren could see a rate hike. The provider has filed for an increase in gas rates that they claim would result in a $4.00 a month more on an average customer's bill. Even as prices for natural gas drops, Ameren says it needs the money for infrastructure work, and to cover increased delivery costs. Delivery rates for Ameren natural gas last went up one year ago.
