State Farm Insurance has won its fight against convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky. Sandusky had claimed his homeowners coverage with State Farm Fire and Casualty should pay for his legal defense. State Farm argued in court that intentional acts arising from willful or malicious conduct should be excluded from coverage. The Insurance Journal reports that Sandusky has withdrawn claims against State Farm and the judge in the case has filed a consent decree stating that the Bloomington based company has no obligation to pay defense costs or awards related to cases filed against Sandusky.
