There's good news and not so good news about the Salvation Army's fund drive this season. The good news is the charity has surpassed it's $220,000 kettle drive goal by over $10,000. The bad news is the overall goal is 16% short of it's goal of $430,000. The Salvation Army says it's mail appeal is still going on. They have collected $127,000 of the $210,000 mail appeal goal. The goal can still be met, if enough donations come in to make up the shortfall between now and the end of January.
