The Salvation Army has made gains in its annual make a difference fundraising campaign and is now more than two thirds of the way to its $430,000 goal. So far more than $290,000 has come in through the red kettle and mail appeals. That's nearly a hundred thousand dollars in the last week. The Salvation Army funds a homeless shelter, transition services and a food pantry.
