The appeals court ruling threatening Illinois' ban of concealed weapons follows failed attempts in the General Assembly to pass conceal carry legislation. Supporters of the movement say the ruling is a huge step in the right direction. In the meantime, Illinois residents wanting a permit can still apply for one, but there's a catch.
