Peoria's mass transit system's adding a pair of full sized hybrid buses to it's fleet. The addition nearly completes replacement of all buses by CityLink. Money to buy the hybrid vehicles comes from the state Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Authority. The buses cost just under a half million dollars each. CityLink already has two other smaller hybrid full size vans. The Peoria mass transit system complete replaceing it's full fleet early next year.
