In Bloomington Tari Renner and Lex Green filed at the same time and will have a lottery to determine ballot position in a couple weeks. Two other Mayoral candidates are expected to file in Bloomington as well. In Bloomington Council races current McLean County Board Member Scott Black is running in ward seven. Alderman Jim Fruin has filed in Ward nine. In the first Ward, incumbent Bernie Anderson and Kevin Lower have filed their papers. One more incumbent is expected to file in Normal. Preston and Ohler have lost previous races. Rackauskas is new to the political scene in Normal. The filing period ends November 26th.
