The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program in Bloomington-Normal is celebrating 20 years of helping underpriveleged children celebrate the holiday season. Coordinator Matt Drat says they are shooting for 20,000 toys in the 20th year.
Drat says last year the program offered holiday comfort to more than six thousand children. He says they are on pace for about the same amount so far, and it is still early in the signup and referral process. Toys will be collected through December 17th.
